On a sunny afternoon in Port Talbot, Curriculum Development Coordinators Julie Isaac-Evans and Dylan Reed had the opportunity to represent Adult Learning Wales at the school fête at Sandfields Primary School. Julie and Dylan were kindly invited to attend the fête, and we are delighted to see the partnership between Adult Learning Wales and the school continue to grow.
They engaged with parents and carers while excited children eagerly poured out of class at 3:15pm to explore the stalls and enjoy the glorious sunshine.
Julie and Dylan highlighted the range of courses and workshops Adult Learning Wales offers, while engaging with parents and carers to explore their interests and discuss potential future learning opportunities. These courses and workshops are able to be delivered at the school itself, offering a convenient time and place to support adult learning and development.
A heartfelt thank you to Family Engagement Officer Laura Kelly and to Sandfields Primary School for inviting us to be part of the event, and to everyone who supported the fête. It was a wonderful afternoon and a brilliant opportunity to connect with the local community.
Thank you for having us!
